Belcaire, a small town located in the Aude region, has been awarded the Green Station label, the first ecotourism label in France.
Since 2014, the Federation of Green Resorts has chosen ecotourism as its spearhead to raise awareness among both travellers and local populations of the need to preserve the environment. It is not only a question of discovering the landscapes, the fauna and flora of a region but also of its inhabitants.
